Everything you need to know about finding us, parking and arriving on the day.

Location: Cathole Bridge Road, Roundham, on the A30 between Crewkerne and Chard.

Please use the map below for the exact festival and parking entrance, as the site covers more than one postcode area.

PARKING

Free on-site parking for around 500 cars.

Parking marshals will be on hand during the busiest periods:

12pm–2pm
4pm–6pm

Please follow signs and marshal directions when entering and leaving the site.

ARRIVING ON FOOT

Free Fest is approximately a 15–20 minute walk from Crewkerne town centre.

Pedestrian access will be available via the marked entrances shown on the site map. Please follow the signs and use the designated pedestrian routes when approaching the festival site.

If you’re walking from Crewkerne, please allow plenty of time and take extra care when approaching and crossing roads near the site.

Once you arrive, follow the pedestrian entrance signs into the festival field.

What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 12pm. Live music starts from 1pm, so arrive early, get parked and settle in for the day.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. Dogs are welcome at Free Fest but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Are there toilets on site?

Yes. Toilets will be available on site throughout the event.

Will bags be searched?

Yes. Bag checks will be carried out at the entrance for everyone’s safety.

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?

No. Please do not bring your own food or alcohol onto the festival site. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the day, and alcohol will be served from the licensed bar.

Can I smoke at Free Fest?

Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Please fully extinguish cigarettes and dispose of them safely.

What is the policy on illegal drugs?

Illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the Free Fest site. Anyone found using or in possession of illegal drugs may be refused entry or asked to leave.

Can I bring a chair or picnic blanket?

Yes. You are welcome to bring camping chairs and picnic blankets to use during the event.

Can I leave and come back in?

Yes. Re-entry is allowed during the event. Please note that the final entry time is 10pm.
